On behalf of the Oshawa Historical Society, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to our Oshawa Historical Society members and members of the community for making the first half of the 2015 season a great success.
We welcomed author, and Oshawa native, Larry Cotton for the May Speaker Series, and he shared stories of taverns, saloons, drinks and mischief that happened along Yonge Street, all from his latest publication Whiskey & Wickedness – Yonge Street: 100 Taverns in 100 Miles.
The Speaker Series is now on break until September. Enjoy the summer!
