All aboard! Spend an evening journeying back to a time when the rail lines ruled the economy and the landscape. Please join the Oshawa Historical Society as we welcome favourite Historian Ron Brown, who will explore the Rails Across Canada, from the Atlantic, through Ontario, and out to the Western Rockies.  Learn about our country’s historic stations, railway museums, heritage train rides, historic bridges, and the rail lines that are still in operation and the ones that have long been forgotten.

The Oshawa Historical Society’s October Speaker Series is taking place Tuesday October 18 at 7PM. The Speaker Series will be held at the McLaughlin Branch of the Oshawa Public Library, located at 65 Bagot Street, Oshawa. Admission to the Oshawa Historical Society Speaker Series is $3 or FREE for members of the Oshawa Historical Society.
