March Local History Speaker Series- Oshawa’s Voices: Oral History Project Showcase

Launched in 2023 to prepare for our city’s centennial this year, the Oshawa Library’s “Memories of Oshawa” project is weaving a tapestry of the city’s history through the lived experiences of its residents. This initiative captures the unique perspectives and stories that have shaped the community. Join Local History Librarian Nicole Adams as she delves into the project, sharing evocative recordings and personal narratives that bring Oshawa’s past to life.

March’s Local History Speaker Series is taking place Tuesday, March 19 at 6PM. The Speaker Series will be held at the McLaughlin Branch of the Oshawa Public Libraries, in the lower level auditorium, located at 65 Bagot Street, Oshawa.

The Local History Speaker Series is an event presented in partnership between the Oshawa Historical Society and the Oshawa Public Libraries.
