Museum Tours

It is with great excitement that we have opened our doors for Museum Tours!

Tours will be offered at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm, Monday to Friday. Your tour time slot can be pre-booked by visiting our Eventbrite page.

Henry House and Guy House ONLY will be available for tours. An exhibit celebrating Lakeview Park will be featured in Guy House. Tour groups will be restricted to a maximum of five people, we ask that social distancing measures are respected and masks worn. Visits start at Henry House.

Annual General Meeting Reminder

As per the the Oshawa Historical Society Board of Directors motion, the Annual General Meeting was moved to September 15, 2020, in accordance with the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

The OM is exploring options to host the AGM online – please stay tuned for more info about this.

Should the September 2020 date need to be revised due to the continuation of the Emergency Order, we will advise the membership as soon as possible.

The Speaker at the September 15 Speaker Series, taking place after the AGM, will be OM staff presenting the history of Lakeview Park.
