The Oshawa Historical Society is finishing its 2019 Speaker Series program with a conversation. We are welcoming representatives from Oshawa’s Heritage and Cultural partners where we will have a panel discussion looking at heritage in our community. Panelists are as follows:

- Jeremy Neal Blowers (Executive Director, Ontario Regiment Museum);
- Melissa Cole (Curator, Oshawa Museum);
- Kirsten Frankish (Supervisor, Cultural Development and Programming, City of Oshawa);
- Alexander Gates (Executive Director & Curator, Canadian Automotive Museum);
- Samantha George (Curator, Parkwood National Historic Site);
- Sonya Jones (Curator of Collections, Robert McLaughlin Gallery);
- Laura Thursby (Chair, Heritage Oshawa); and,
- Nancy Trimble (Chair, Ontario Genealogical Society, Durham Region Branch).
- Moderated by Laura Suchan (Executive Director, Oshawa Museum).
The Oshawa Historical Society’s November Speaker Series is taking place Tuesday, November 19 at 7PM. The Speaker Series will be held at the Arts Resource Centre, located at 45 Queen Street, Oshawa. Admission to the Oshawa Historical Society Speaker Series is $3 or FREE for members of the Oshawa Historical Society.
