In 2013, the OM received an amazing donation, hundreds of papers relating to Elder Thomas Henry, whose house makes up one third of the Oshawa Museum. The letters in this collection provide valuable insight into the Henry Family and the world around them. Archivist Jennifer Weymark will share memorable stories, all of which culminated in the book To Cast a Reflection: The Henry Family in their own words.

The Oshawa Historical Society’s February Speaker Series is taking place Tuesday, February 19 at 7PM. The Speaker Series will be held at the Arts Resource Centre, located at 45 Queen Street, Oshawa. Admission to the Oshawa Historical Society Speaker Series is $3 or FREE for members of the Oshawa Historical Society.
